Wednesday 4th March - New Wave South African Wines with Greig Wilson
The South African wine scene is hugely dynamic at present, throwing up many new producers to sit alongside their more established colleagues. The quality of the wines being produced there is simply stunning and amongst others we will taste from the Mentors range, Painted Wolf and Seven Springs. Greig is well known to many and always gives an experienced and witty insight into the wines. 7-9pm £25 per person

Thursday 12th March - Into Spring with Sparkling Wines with Laura Bennet
we will want the Fizzy stuff by March; after all it is the month of Easter. As well as tasting the lovely stuff we will learn how to tell Champagne from a Cremant and Cava from a Prosecco. We will taste some premier English sparkling and talk about its phenomenal growth in recent years and will try some sparkling red just to tease the palate. 7-9pm £25 per person.

Wednesday 25th March - How to match Wine and Cheese
This is trickier than you think, cheese and wine are not the most natural compatriots whatever the general reputation of their partnership. More often than not a White makes the best accompaniment to cheese, but not always, so we will be tasting reds as well. Richard Whiney has a fine pedigree in wine and after recent tutoring for us on pairing cheeses with wine has agreed to reprise his performance. 7-9pm £25 per person

Thursday 16th April - Celebrate Malbec Day with Laura Bennet
This is an evening when we get to taste Malbec's from the Old World and New. Laura with take us on the Malbec journey from France to Argentina with perhaps a diversion to Chile. We will look at different wine making styles involved in Malbec and take in some Malbec blends as well. We might well even get to chew on some steak....even if it is in a taster style salad. 7-9pm £25 per person
